Born in Iberville, Quebec, Mario Davignon studied in the art of interpretation and production at Collège Lionel-Groulx.

After, he has rapidly moved on to a « costume creator » career.

Having also followed a course in « haute couture » at Cotnoir-Capponi school , he started his professionnal career drawing costumes for the Théâtre d’Aujourd’hui before looking at a career in cinema, first as a « dresser » and then as a « costume coordinator ».

As of today, he has contributed to more than 40 productions in films as well as many television series as a costume designer.
